Column Display Options
From Graphene Theme Documentation
Here you can set the default template to be used for your pages and posts. For pages, you can override the selected column mode by selecting a different page template on the individual page editor screen.
Options List
- Column mode
- One Column - No Sidebars
- Only displays the main content area. This option will give you the most area (real estate) for your pages and posts content.
- One Column - Sidebar on Right
- Displays your main content area on the left, and your sidebar area on the right.
- Two Columns - Sidebar on Left
- Displays your main content area on the right, and your sidebar area on the left.
- Three Columns - Sidebars on the Right
- Displays your main content area on the far left, with two sidebars on the right.
- Three Columns - Sidebars on the Left
- Displays your main content area on the far right, with two sidebars on the left.
- Three Columns - Sidebars on the Right and Left
- Displays your main content area in the middle, with one sidebar on the right and one sidebar on the left.

- bbPress column mode
- This option is similar to the Column mode option above, but is only applicable to bbPress pages. It allows you to set a separate column mode for your forums. For example, you can use a two-column mode with sidebar for your blog and other pages, while keeping the bbPress forums to use the one-column mode with no sidebar.
- This option is only available if you have installed and activated the bbPress plugin.
