Talk:General Options page
I'm not sure how these two pages (General Options and Display Options) should be displayed. I've created this one (General Options) as a series of headings, which room for brief descriptions, which may help out those who are new to the theme. Question: how to create links to individual help articles?
Display Options is just a series of links to individual help articles.
Which format is preferred?

I would prefer a series of headings, since that'll consolidate the entire documentation for the options page in a single page, and eliminates the need for back and forth traversing in the wiki. Not quite sure what you mean by this: Question: how to create links to individual help articles?
Tips: you should 'sign' talk pages by inserting four tildes (~~~~
) under your entry.

So you want both General Options and Display Options to look like the General Options page I have created here, without linking to separate articles for each option?
Won't that make this page very long?

Meaning: if this page is a series of headings, how would you link to a separate page that describes that option? But if you want it all on a single page, then this is a moot point.

That's correct.

That's okay. The auto-generated Table of Contents will make it easy to navigate and find specific sections in the page.

Also, it would be better I think to make each options panel a level 2 heading, instead of level 3. I've edited the page to reflect this.
